Though Derrick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father David Buhmeier; and his stepfather Bruce Robertson. He is survived by: his children, Alexandria Nelson, Katie-Lynn Buhmeier and Jabe Buhmeier; his mother Nora Robertson; and his grandchildren, Xavier Nelson and Zander Nelson. He is also survived by his three children, two grandsons, and loving mother.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
