He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Johns and Cecelia Marie Johns (Lee). He is survived by: his wife Ann Johns (Nash); his children, Julie Ann Schapker and Brian David Johns (Patricia); his siblings, Mary Carolyn Wagner (Jim) and Paul M. Johns (Mary); and his grandchildren, Eric William Johns and Mallory Schapker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (3500 St Philip Rd S, Evansville, IN 47712).
