With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David G. Drake of Evansville, Indiana, born in Toledo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Drake and Thelma Drake (Lindsey); and his sister Barbara Oliver (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Drake (Cole) of Evansville, IN; his children, Susan Hunt (Bill) of Canton, MI, Julie Hohenbery (Joe) of Edwards, IL and Pat Drake (Christi) of Evansville, IN; his brother Ralph Drake, II (Barbara) of Reno, NV; his brother-in-law Ed (Sharon Cole); and his grandchildren, Amanda Hunt, Sam Brushaber, Katie Hunt, Jack Hohenbery, Lexi Hohenbery and Zack Jones.
