It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Ann (Jung) Jewell of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorene Jung (Ebert) and Arthur Jung; her daughter Lee Ann Brown; her sister Marilynn Jung; and her great-nieces, Elizabeth Skye and Kendra JoAnn Lingafelter.
She is survived by: her granddaughter McKayla Brown of Evansville, IN; her sister Nancy Schuldt (Donald) of Evansville, IN; and her nieces, Lori Lingafelter (Curt) of Griffin, IN, Katie Tieken (Nick) of Evansville, IN and Donna Curry (Willie) of Evansville, IN.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
