He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary A. Wersich (Schauss) and Daniel Wersich; his wife Wanda Faye; his son Donald Wersich Hosmeyer; his niece Carol Wersich; and his nephew Robert Rust.
He is survived by: his caregiver Jane E. Marriott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery.
