We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2019, at the age of 91, Clara Stitt (Evansville, Indiana) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clara Stitt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Austin Stitt (Bill); her son-in-law Chad Mooney; her sisters-in-law, Marilou Madden and Marge Posthauer; and her nephew Glen Gore (Angie).
She is survived by: her children, Indiana University, David Austin Stitt (Jamie) and Susan Stitt Mooney of Dallas, TX; her sister Virginia Gore of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Ashley Mooney Wesson (Holt) and Austin Mooney; and her nephews, van and Steve Gore (Beth).
A special thanks to the entire Gore family and memory care providers at Atria Newburgh and Monticello West in Dallas, who lovingly cared for her continuously during her eight year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
