He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia Desch Nix and Christian Frederick Nix Sr.; his wife Dorothy; his daughter Donna Fenn; and his son-in-law Douglas Fenn.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Liffick (Thomas); his grandchildren, Emily Liffick Martin (Ryan), Christian Fenn (Summer) and Meg Liffick Ball (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Harper, Reid, Josephine, Ford and August.
