He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clara Walker (Beyer) and Charles A. Walker; his siblings, Harold Walker, Jim Walker and Mildred Myers; his wife Genevieve Aust; his children, Charles Michael Walker, Deborah Walker, Daniel Walker (Connie) and Sarah Claycomb (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Kevin Claycomb (Jenny), Cara Montgomery (Justin), Jenna Williams (Justin), Caitlin Miller (Cory) and Ellen Walker. He was also cherished by four children, which expanded to five grandchildren, and now seven great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer or Evansville Lutheran School.
