He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Offerman and Janet Offerman Lappe (Hansen); his half-brother John F. W. Koch II; and his grandparents, Edgar, Elva Lewis, Henry Offerman and Laura Offerman Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Karla Offerman (Dimmett); his sons, Chad Offerman (Michelle) and Cory Offerman (Michaela); his grandchildren, Carson and Sawyer Offerman; his sisters, Carrie Berry (James) and Linda Stone (Eddie); and his uncle Bob Offerman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his four-legged companions.
