She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Benson and Nadine Benson; her brother Ernest; her sister-in-law Henretta Benson; and her sister Lilian Franklin.

She is survived by: her husband Lucian Senior; her sons, David (LaShawnda) and Lucian Jr.; her siblings, Ethel Hawkins and Lee Benson (Beverly); her grandsons, Kai Snaden (Allison), Evan Alderson and Cameron Snaden (Kennedy); her nephews, Frank, Randall Benefield, Rodger (Andrea) and Rafer Benson; her niece Julie Benson Jennings; and her friends, Clara Jackson and Arvanna Harrison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel (1001 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nazarene Baptist Church (867 E Walnut St, Evansville, IN 47713). A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
