Carole Parkinson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Parkinson (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Brown and Margaret Elizabeth Brown (Althaus); her husband Gerald Parkinson, Sr.; her son Gerald "Bud" Parkinson, Jr.; and her brothers, Jerry L. and William R. "Bill" Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Cindi Parkinson Lawson, Daniel Parkinson (Paula) and Jeff Parkinson (Karen); her daughter-in-law Paula Parkinson; her brothers, Jim Brown (Mary), Ronald Brown (Karen) and Donald Brown; her grandchildren, Rhett Lawson, Reece Lawson, Megan Altstadt (Chip), Becky Raben (Michael), Gerald "Jerry" Parkinson, III (Andrea), Ashley Parkinson (Landon Baker), Max Parkinson, Alex Parkinson (Alexis Payton), Madison Freeman (John), Mackenzie Weinzapfel (Craig), Mahlon Parkinson (Shelby), Mikail Parkinson and Macartney Parkinson; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Caleb, David, Nora, Caroline, Jacquelyn, Charlotte, Anna, Kate, Bridger, Lola, Jaida, Parker, Preston, June, Leo, Josie, Eleanor, Liam, Jack and Georgia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (3500 St Philip Rd S, Evansville, IN 47712).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church, 3500 St. Philip Road, S, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 or to the Mater Dei Friends and Alumni Association, 1300 Harmony Way, Evansville, IN 47720.
