He is survived by: his son Mark E. Rutledge (Julie); his granddaughters, Mallory Dierlam (Jeff) and Jourdan Bean (Keith); and his great grandchildren, Will Dierlam, Norah Dierlam, Lucy Dierlam, Jaycee Bean, Molly Swedenburg, Sydney Bean and Wesley Bean.
