It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brianye' Danielle Copeland (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great-great-grandparents, Vitula and Sam Mallory; her great-grandparents, Wilma Johnson, Mary Catherine Copeland, Horace Copeland Sr., Nathan Hughes, Donald Lee Matthews, Cecil Johnson Sr. and David Adams Sr.; and her uncle Myron "Bubby" Matthews.
She is survived by: her parents, Brian "Pete" Copeland and Tiffany Matthews; her sister A'Bria Copeland; her great-grandparent Mary "Lou Lou" Adams; her grandparents, Shirley "Grandma Shirl" Baker, Harvey "Papa Jake" Baker, LaDonna "Don Don" Matthews, Gregory, Johnson Sr., Bruce "Papa Bruce" Johnson, James "Papa James" Mayes, Brittany and Sonya "Aunt Sonya" Copeland; and her uncle Marcus Johnson. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (645 Canal St, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711).
