He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn E., Sr. and Delia Marie Butts (Collins); his daughter Kimberly Tice; his siblings, W. E. Butts, Jr. (Iva Lois Butts) and Helen Kessler Ramberger; and his father-in-law Clarence Hazlett.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hazlett; his mother-in-law Erma J. Hazlett; his aunt Janice Cain; and his extended family, Sharon, Angie, Dara, John III (Andrea) and Dallas Tice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
