He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wenzel, Sr. and Anna Wenzel (Klinger); his sisters, Madelyn Scott, LaVerne Wenzel and Juanita Fenwick; and his son Stephen Wenzel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra M. Wenzel (Lindenberg); his children, Steve (Belinda), Keith (Suzanne), Jeff and Denise Hunt (Darin); his grandchildren, Matt, Stacia, Stevie (Stephen), Brad, Casey, Cody (Keith) and Dana (Denise); and his nephew Frank Emmerich (Kris). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
