She is survived by: her son Bertel E. Adams (Dorothy) of Evansville, Indiana.; her spouse Ewell E Gordon Jr.; her children, Lekita Hart (Ken), Ewell E. Gordon III (Teresa) and Scottie Gordon of New Braunfels, TX; her grandchildren, Damien Adams, Kendra DeBruhl, Dana Winston, Kelly Boyd, June Johnston, Nacole Wheatley, Kente'Hart, Khristian Hart-Choate, Jackie Kay Gordon, Eli Gordon, Eshton Gordon and Kaiden Gordon; and her siblings, Jonita McNeeley, Missy Glover (Malcolm), Tasha Gant (Kerry) of Indianapolis, IN, Paula Hudson, Sue Hanley (Jerry), Pauletta Rascoe (Norris), Helen Manning of Hopkinsville, KY, Judy Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Dorothy Thomas of Columbus, GA., Daris "Geno" Tyler (Nina), Donnie Tyler of Owensboro, KY, Herbert Manning (Sharon), Jewel Manning (Vanessa), Roy Tyler III (Janie) and Jerry Tyler of Hopkinsville, KY.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

When she relocated to Indianapolis she was an Office Manager for The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis. .
