With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice J. Garness of Evansville, Indiana, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Holmes Carson (South) and Norman Holmes; her husband Dennis Garness; and her grandson Andy Herrmann. She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Donnie Herrmann), Jennifer (John Rotelli) and Danny (Teresa Garness); her sister Barbara; her brother-in-law Les Murdach; and her grandchildren, Avery Garness, Ellie Wickham (Alex), Devan Garness, Kole Johnson, Adam Herrmann, Eric Herrmann, Cloe Jewell and Grace Johnson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lippe United Church of Christ, 9000 Copperline Road E, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.
