He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Staser and Mayme Staser (Billings); his daughter Dana Hayes; his stepdaughter Michele Goodrich; and his siblings, Ronald Staser and Lois Brown.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Staser (Pearson); his children, Johnna Cruz (Darryl) and Robert Staser; his stepdaughter Kimbery Williams; his siblings, Alice Quirk (Guy) and William Staser (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Taryn, Sabra, River, Heather, Christopher, Vince, Olivia, Kyler and Hailey.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
