He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rust and Clara Rust (Dunn); his brothers, Roger Rust, Willkie Rust and Dennis Rust; and his grandson Angel Rust.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Rust; his children, Daniel Rust (Marissa) of White House, TN, Brent Rust (Deanna) of Mansfield, TX and Christy Welsh (Jim) of Conroe, TX; his siblings, Richard Rust of Velpen, IN and Linda Rust of Evanston, IN; and his grandchildren, Miles, Estelle, Everly, Ava Rust, Aubrey, Jackson, Sydney and Reagan Welsh.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Collins Chapel Cemetery.
