She was predeceased by: her parents, Albertus "Bertie" Murphy and Lena Murphy (James); her son Joe Wayne Foertsch; and her siblings, Lorena Melton, Elvis Murphy, Hilda Schwartz, Merton Murphy, Bernita Mogan and Geneva Mathison.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Stevens (Darrell), Dennis Foertsch (Donna), Elane Tyree (Roger Davis) and Noah Foertsch (Darlene). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
