She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Purtzer and Lue Purtzer. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Purtzer, Vickie Heilmann (Eric), Patty McGuire of Newburgh and Lori Purtzer of Louisville, Kentucky.; her niece Marcie Mickel (Billy); and her nephews, Derek Heilmann (Jeri), Nicholas Heilmann (Kristy), Andrew McGuire and Luke McGuire.
