He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Mast and Mary Ann Mast (Burkholder); his children, Barbara Mast of Carolyn Chupp, Lester, Dennis and Mark Mast; his granddaughters, Julia Chupp, Martha Chupp and Jocelyn Mast; and his siblings, Emanuel, Leroy, Willis, Eli Mast, Emma Lehman-Yoder, Barbara Miller and Gertie Mast.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Mast; his children, Rosemary Mast, Etna Green, Lamar Mast, North Webster, Paul Mast, Westville, Linda Hochstetler (Floyd), Galen Mast and Bourbon; his children-in-law, Merle Chupp (Kathy) of Etna Green and Anita Mast of Nappanee; his sisters, Katie Burkholder and Mary Bontrager; and his sister-in-law Fern Elliot (James) of Palm Harbor, FL.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
