He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Slabaugh and Susie Slabaugh (Hochstetler); his wife Laura Miller; and his siblings, Omer, Glen, Simon Jr., Larry and Mary Hochstetler.
He is survived by: his children, Marlin Slabaugh (Arlene Mae), Norman Slabaugh (Mary Esther), Regina Kay Schmucker (Dennis Eugene) of Etna Green and Janita Lynn Slabaugh of Etna Green; his siblings, Edward Slabaugh (Mary Ellen) of Wyer's Cave, VA, Howard Slabaugh (Brenda) of Galloway, OH, Verna Yoder, Martha Schmucker (Mahlon) of Bremen, IN, Barbara Hochstetler (Eli) of Nappanee, IN, Esther Schwartz (Raymond) of Nappanee, IN and Sue Ellen Mast (Glen) of Arthur, IL; and his sister-in-law Marie Slabaugh of Plain City, OH.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
