He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sims and Tamae Sims (Ichikawa); and his brother Jerry Sims. He is survived by: his wife Annis Dooley-Sims of English; his children, Colten Sims (Lauren) of Arlington, TX and Sara Gilmore (Matt) of Bedford; his siblings, Sharon Sims of Escondido, CA and David Sims; and his granddaughters, Camryn Sims and Sydney Gilmore.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Orange County Humane Society or Valeene Wesleyan Church.
