He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Bye Sr. and Helen Deen Bye; and his brother Charles Bye. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wayne Bye (Becky) of Evansville and Evelyn Grace Embry (Josh) of Ramsey, Indiana.; and his grandson Braeden Embry of Ramsey, Indiana.
