He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Sr. Cox; and his sister Teresa Pflum. He is survived by: his wife Gale Sue Bishop Cox; his daughters, Kimberly Mason (Orlen) of Fairfiled, Kristen Mason (Justin) of Fairfiled, Jessica DeCarlo (Adam) of English and Jeri Cox (Kevin) of Palmyra, Indiana; and his brother Joseph "Bud" Cox, Jr. (Donna) of Florida. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
