She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Sturgeon and Dora M. Sturgeon (Hall); and her siblings, Opal Hammond, Mary Ann Qualkenbush, Helen Brown, Aussie, Jerry and Lee Sturgeon.
She is survived by: her husband Doyle E. Smith; her sons, Jeff D. Smith (Amy) of St, Stephen E. Smith (Kathy Harrison) of West Fork and Scott R. Smith (Mary Ann Hines) of Leavenworth, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Zach Smith, Seth Smith, Jadyn Smith, Logen Smith, Katie Smith and Bridget Smith; and her great grandchildren, Braelynn and Brody Purcell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (306 Spring St, Milltown, IN 47145). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
