He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ottinger and Betty Ottinger (Wilkerson); his former wives, Bonnie Bolin and Bonnie Ottinger; and his siblings, Roslia and Benny Ottinger (Bo).
He is survived by: his daughter Heather S. Ottinger (Jonathan); his wife Susan Ottinger; and his siblings, Nancy D. Lowe of Concord, NC, Deborah Griffin of Lebanon, IN, Richard E. Ottinger (Silvia) and Paul Ottinger (Janet) of Marion, NC.. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to k.love radio station or the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
