With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas E. Hoover Sr. of Elwood, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hoover and Mary Hoover (Langley); his stepfather Richard "Dick" Runyan; and his sister Carllena May Cassell. He is survived by: his wife Merri Hoover of Elwood; his sons, Thomas Hoover, Jr. (Julie) of Fishers and Tim Hoover (April) of Anderson; his stepdaughter Tracy Bushue (Brent) of Dierich, IL; his siblings, Danny Runyan (Dee) of Oklahoma, Evelyn Fosnot of Anderson, Betty Brickner (Larry) of Florida, Bruce Runyan (Joyce) of Oklahoma, Jane McMillian of Anderson and David Arbuckle of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Whitney Sobieralski (Blake), Carling Deehr, Elijah Hoover, Conner Hoover, Andrew Hoover (Isabel), Zack Bushue (Paige), Chyenne Spitzer and Baylee Nees (Kedric); and his great grandchildren, Shane Sobieralski and Maverick Hoover.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Enon-Ashmore Baptist Church Cemetery.
