Steele G. Vest Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steele G. Vest of Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Steele Vest; his wife Betty M. Vest (Cornwell); his grandsons, Jason and Jay Cabe; his siblings, Jim Vest, William "Bud" Vest, Ruth Deckard and Jane Braddick; his sons-in-law, Chet Jarrell and Terry Beeman; and his pets, Buster and Buddy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Jarrell of Elwood, Betty Vest of Elwood and Judy Cabe of Chesterton; his grandchildren, Steele Jarrell (Amy) and Christine Crawford (Jade); his great grandchildren, Waylon, Parker Jarrell, Kaelin, Caden, Cameron Crawford, McKenzie and Sydnee Cabe; and his nephew Johnny Paul Deckard (Randy Robison). He is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
