It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Hopper of Elwood, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Ashpaugh and Grace Ashpaugh (Boles); her husband Robert R. Hopper; her children, Dennis Hopper of Arcadia, Mark Hopper (Sondra) of Westfield and Gail Hopper of Pendleton; her siblings, Bill Ashpaugh (Nancy) of Noblesville, Kay Kerchival (Max) of Westfield and Lois Stoops (Larry) of Franklin, Indiana; her sisters-in-law, Dee Ashpaugh of Westfield and Sonjia Ashpaugh of Westfield; and her brothers, Samuel Ashpaugh and David Ashpaugh. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
