He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gipson and Roxie Gipson (Green); his brothers, Ken Gipson and Lawrence Gibson; and his former wife Linda Speer (Cotton).
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Gipson Burt (Kevin), Michele Gipson Davis (Chris) and Jessica Gipson; his siblings, Tim Gibson (Brenda), Anna Gipson and Becky Brosnan (Joe); and his grandchildren, Chris Sorg, Elizabeth Sorg, Rachel Burt Mahnke, Mason Lewis and Isaac Gipson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
