Hardman and Ada Twig (Roser); his son Richard Hardman, II; his stepparents, Mary Catherine Hardman and Waldo Twig; his granddaughter Amber Hutchens; his brothers, James Hardman and Michael Hardman; his son-in-law Jesse James; and his friend Bertie Finster.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Bonar of Fort Wayne and Deborah Harris (Joe) of Upland; his stepdaughters, Ginger Silver-Christian (Paul) of Charlotte, N. C. and Christina Engle (Paul) of Pennsylvania; his adoptive daughter Amy Dulworth; his sisters, Bette Stahley (Jack) of Ohio, Barbara James of Hudson, Carolyn Hartley of Alexandria and Linda Hardman of Muncie; his grandchildren, Tara, Todd, Nicholas, Joey and Brock; his stepgrandchildren, Shawn of Steven, A. J., Bethany, Paul, Michael, Aubrey and Dominic; and his close friends, Jerry Marcum, Bob Decker, Jerry Moss and Vicki Rule.
