He was predeceased by: his siblings, John "Sonny" Duffitt, Jr., Mary Teague (Dave) and Randy Duffitt; his brother-in-law Bill Scott; and his in-laws, Mitchell and Geneva Hardwick.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Caroll Hardwick of Elwood; his children, Scott Duffitt (Nila) of Columbia City, Shawna Mills (Walt Cerrato) of Titusville, FL and Amber Jones (Ryan) of McCordsville; his grandchildren, Alexis Mills of Titusville and Kaden Mills of Titusville; his sister Bonnie Scott of Elwood; and his sister-in-law Connie Duffitt of Kokomo.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Copher - Fesler - May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). The military honors was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Elwood City Cemetery (1100 S E St, Elwood, IN 46036).
