He is survived by: his mother Mary Phipps (Snyder) of Alexandria; his children, Melissa Phipps (Thad Cone) of Alexandria and Mike Phipps (Amber) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Austin Phipps, Zachary Phipps, Hailey Pickett, Madison Adams and Jacob Ellis; his siblings, Katina Gleeson (Randall) of Gaston, Mark Snyder (Lisa) of Monterey, Kevin Phipps of Alexandria and Tony Knotts (Rainy) of Elwood; and his stepsiblings, Daniel Swango (Linda) of Geneva and Carol Morin (Bart) of Alexandria.
