She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Bruner and Chloie Bruner (Street); her husband Don Simpson; her sister May Irene Bruner; and her nephews, Derek Campbell and Gregg Marine.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Louise Marine, Nancy Carpenter (William II) and Verna Dailey (Ronald); her nephews, Drandy Campbell, Bruce Campbell (Ronda), William Carpenter III (Sasha) and Ronald Jr. Dailey (Laurel); her niece Gemia Davis (Scot); and her sister-in-law Mary Lynn.
