With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnie W. Capshaw of Elwood, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Jessie Capshaw; his children, James Capshaw, Ty Ritcher and Angel Large; his grandson Johnny Capshaw, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Jessie Mikesell.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Capshaw (Bronnenberg) of Elwood; and his children, Johnny Capshaw (Melissa) of Elwood, Jeff Burger (Shelly) of Frankton, Adam Shortridge (Brittany) of Summitville and Jennifer Dunham (Jason) of Terre Haute. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 16 siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
