He is survived by: his wife Sonja K. Odom of Elwood; his children, Charles "Chuck" Leavitt (Joni) of Lebanon and Cindie Moody (Darin) of Westfield; his grandchildren, Darci Crockett (Nick), Ryland Leavitt (Kelly), Ashleigh Woodard (Daniel), Maleri Hickman (Anthony) and Carli Leavitt (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Paisleigh Woodard, Rileigh Woodard and Amelia Leavitt; his half-brothers, Max Leavitt (Pam), David Leavitt (Rose) and Rex Leavitt; and his brother-in-law Steve Odom (Cindy) of Franklin.
