He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilva "Pete" Turner and Frances Turner (Clayhorn); his sister Jeannette Curless; his sons, Daniel Turner and David Turner; his stepson Keith Howey; and his grandson Gregory Turner.
He is survived by: his close friend Vicky Turner of Elwood; his daughter Debra Ducheteau (Michael) of Crossville, TN; his stepchildren, Jerry Macke of Frankton, Johnny Howey of Elwood and Cindy Howey of Indianapolis; his sister Lana Anderson of Fort Wayne; and his stepgrandchildren, Jake Macke and Anna Macke. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 additional step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
