He was predeceased by: his mother Louise F. Etchison (Morehead); his son John D. Etchison; and his brother-in-law Larry Scudder. He is survived by: his father Lester F. Etchison; his wife Joanna Etchison of Elwood; his daughters, Jennifer Gerencser (Dennis) of Elwood and Jessica Williamson (Dave) of Cincinnati, OH; his siblings, Don Etchison (Arlene) of Greentown and Diana Scudder of Ohio; his grandchildren, Allison Sallee, Kristen Arr (Scotty), Courtney Westafer (Christian), Kendra Rapp (Trenton), Ryan Williamson, Adam Williamson and Julius Gerencser; his great grandchildren, Matthew Geiling, Sonny Arr, Bonnie Arr, Bhodi Arr, Charlotte Westafer, Alden Westafer and Jett Rapp; and his brother-in-law Roger Roe of Sebring, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
