It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy May Lawhorn of Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Marcus and Mary Edith Guilkey (Hamble); her husband Carl Lawhorn; her son Bob (Colleen Lawhorn); her brother Paul Guilkey; her grandchildren, Michael Lawhorn and Angela Bauer (Loveless); and her great grandchild Baby Macy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marinda Correll (John) of Anderson and Linda Loveless (Rick) of Elwood; and her sister Rebecca Fay Stephens of Westfield. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Copher - Fesler - May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036).
