She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Hofer and Beulah Hofer (Hamilton); and her siblings, Jack Hofer and Joann Coe. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Cobb (Jerry), Mike Ballard (Wedonnia), Delronda Sue Ford (Tom) of Chesapeake, VA and Dan Ballard (Kathy); her grandchildren, Marcus Parsons (Crystal), Nicholas Parsons (Kathryn), Victoria Matthews (Jon), Robert Ford (Cecille), Nichole West and Danny West (Deana); and her great grandchildren, Isiah Hedley and Naomi West.

Due to Betty's love of flowers and gardening memorial contributions may be made to the Fairmount Garden Club in care of the funeral home.
