Bennie M. Wells Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie M. Wells of Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wells and Cecilia Wells (Widener); his wife Roberta Wells (Harvey); and his siblings, Helen Minch, Earl Wells, Walter Wells, Charles Wells and Bob Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Martin (Tom) of Oklahoma and Gregory Wells (Chris) of Elwood; his brother Harold Wells of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Brian Sullivan (Gina) of Oklahoma and Melissa Adams (Daniel) of Elwood; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Sullivan (Ari), Hunter Sullivan (Ellie), Haleigh Guajardo (Rosalio) and Dreyton Adams. He is also survived by five great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Elwood Animal Shelter.
