He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivory Johnson and Lillian Higdon (Logsdon); and his siblings, Ivory Johnson Jr., William Johnson and Donna Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Johnson (Hatfield) of Elnora; his children, Robert Johnson Jr. (Darlene) of Tennyson, Indiana and Debra Myers (Lanny) of Springville; and his stepchildren, Denice Goolsby, Richard Douthitt, Diane Nicholson, Rocky Escobedo, Joe Escobedo, Carlos Escobedo and Rick Escobedo. He is also survived by six grandchildren, several step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
