It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Maxine Tungate of Elnora, Indiana, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Bingham and Gertrude Bingham (Vandeventer); her former husband Robert Tungate; her husband Robert Boardman; her siblings, Lois Shelton, Eddie Bingham, Wilbert "Bud" Bingham, Helen Little, Desmonda Bowersock and Thelma Shute; and her children, Dennis Tungate and Patricia Lee Tungate.
She is survived by: her son Randall Tungate of Evansville; her grandchildren, Melissa Webster (Marty) of Odon, Brandi Conder (Joe) of Hatfield and Robby Tungate of Hatfield; her great grandchildren, Chase Webster, Austin Webster, Aaron Poirot, Nathan Blosl (Lauren) and Ellah Dawn Blosl; her stepsons, Bobby Boardman (Lesley) of Odon and Ricky Boardman (Karen) of Enid, Oklahoma; and her brother Jerry Bingham (Paula).
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Grandview cemetery or Elnora Christian Church.
