He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Herbert and Violet Eleanor Bays (Isaac); and his siblings, Kenny Bays, Nancy Pauline Bays, Brenda Bays and Carol Vertrees.
He is survived by: his children, John Wesley Bays (Marla) of Plainville and Amanda Hurst (Andrew) of Elnora; his grandchildren, Kaylynn, Kynslee, Madisyn, Maesyn, Parker, Hunter, Leeland, Dayson, Sara, Whitney and Lauren; his close friend Lori Shake of Princeton; and his siblings, Perry Bays of Elnora, Lou Kibler of York, PA and Bonnie Wehmeier of Decker.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
