With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Mae Upton of Ellettsville, Indiana, born in Patricksburg, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Honn and Lollie Honn (Graham); her husband Albert Upton; her children, Tammy Patterson and Chuck Upton; her grandchildren, Craig Stanley and Valerie Mills; and her siblings, Goldie Honn (Marie Honn), Geneva Chaney, Mary Russell, Jean Clark (Loretta Morris), Charles, William and Richard Honn.
She is survived by: her children, Tresa Ewbank (Jeff), Jim Upton and Kathy Stanley (Mike); and her sister Norma Herrington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
