With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter R. Russell of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell and Ernestine Russell; his son Chad Russell; and his brother James Russell. He is survived by: his children, Randy Russell (Nancy) of Elkhart, IN, Karen Russell-Lowe (James) of Elkhart, IN and Carol Russell of Bristol, IN; his grandchildren, Amber Russell, Brandon Russell, Eric Carrico and Chaz Bellfy; his great grandchildren, Kyla Carrico, Declen Bellfy and Cayden Bellfy; and his siblings, William Russell and Patricia Burns.
Memorial donations in honor of Walter may be made to the Elkhart Military Veterans Honor Guard.
