He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde R. Taber and Bertha C. Taber (Otto); his brother Stanley L. Taber; and his daughter Tina E. Sommers (Taber). He is survived by: his brother Allen; his wife Margie E. Taber (Green); his daughters, Tonia M. Kohout (Wayne) of Granger, IN, Temera E. DeFronzo (Theodore) of Elkhart, IN and Lisa D. Davis (Timothy) of Williamsport, IN; his son-in-law Troy Sommers of Mishawaka, IN.; his grandchildren, Alex, Crystal, Lauren, Cameron, Nicole, Justin, Austin and Mikayla; and his great grandchildren, Ryker, Valeriee, Serenity, Ryder, Caiden, Beau, Lakelyn, Paisley and Kasen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, he wished to have donations sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
