He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Valena "Kim" Swoape; his mother Celaine Heflin; his children, Steven Heflin (Alisha), Nicole Peterson (Charles), Jon Miller and Cynthia Miller; his siblings, Mark Swoape (Amy), Scott Heflin (Arlene), Tim Swoape (Teresa), Sheilia Howard (Chad) and Louanne Hunt (Darren); and his father Robert Heflin. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren.
